1. Products to Meet Biodegradability Demands
These esters and polyalkylene glycol base stocks pass the >60% OECD 301B test and have a renewable content greater than 80%.
Ester Base Stocks
- Synative ES 2925: >60% biodegradable according to OECD 301B and is made of 82% renewable content
- Synative ES 2939: 86% renewable content and is >60% biodegradable according to OECD 301B
- Synative ES 2964: 90% renewable content and is >60% biodegradable according to OECD 301B
Polyalkylene Glycols (PAGs)
- Plurasafe WI 165: >60% biodegradable according to OECD 301 series
- Plurasafe WS 660: >60% biodegradable content according to the OECD 301 series
2. Products to Meet Regulations Pertaining to Environmentally Sensitive Areas
Formulate lubricants to meet various Ecolabel requirements, such as the Lubricant Substance Classification list (LuSC-list), Vessel General Permit (VGP) and the new Vessel Incidental Discharge Act (VIDA) with these base stocks and additives.
Base Stocks
- Synative ES DPHA: VGP compliant, LuSC listed, and 90% biodegradable under OECD 301B
- Synative ES 1200: LuSC listed, biodegradable and high renewable content
Additives
- Irganox L 06 (AO): LuSC listed and VGP compliant
- Irgalube 349 (EP/AW): LuSC listed and VGP compliant
- Sarkosyl O (CI): LuSC-list and is readily biodegradable according to the OEDC 301X methods
