We track and review all incidents and accidents and reward our facilities for no lost-time accidents. We have a written Risk Management Program and have implemented all suggestions made by the Department of Home Land Security.

National Association of Chemical Distributors
Monson is an active member of The National Association of Chemical Distributors (NACD). Established in 1971, it is an international association of chemical distributor companies that purchase and take title of chemical products from manufacturers. Member companies process, formulate, blend, re-package, warehouse, transport, and market these chemical products.

NACD - Responsible Distribution™            Responsible Distribution™ is designed to be sensitive and responsive to community needs and public concerns. As a member of RD we play a leadership role in our community as technical and safety resources and we are eager to provide assistance and guidance to local, state and federal legislators on technical issue relating to the safe handling, storage, transportation, use and disposal of chemical products. We are committed to continuous improved performance in protecting health, safety, security and the environment.

Massachusetts Chemical Technology Alliances
Represents our interests to the state legislature, government agencies and the public. Advocates legislative and regulatory initiatives that both preserve the natural environment and promote the economic environment to ensure sustainable development in the Commonwealth. Provides education and training programs that inform members about regulatory compliance and best business practices. Provides assistance and information to members to support their commitment to responsible practices and programs, including "Environmental Management Systems"and the "Pollution Prevention". Communicates the benefits of chemistry and chemical technology through community outreach programs.

Leominster North Central MA Emergency Planning Committee
The Office of Emergency Management is the City’s primary all hazard mitigation, planning, response and recovery department. Monson Companies sits on this Committee which identifies, assess, mitigates and plans for any threat or risk that may cause loss of life or injury to citizens, visitors, damage to property and the environment or otherwise threaten the quality of life in our community.
