Monson Companies has four blending vessels.  Two tanks located at our South Portland, ME facility are heated.  The other two tanks are located at our Leominster, MA facility.  We receive bulk chemicals by both rail car and tank wagon, then package into totes, intermediate bulk containers (IBC's), drums, pails and bags. The products we package range from consumer-ready bags of ice melter to totes of USP intermediates for inclusion in pharmaceutical preparations. 

Our exclusive arrangement with Ciba PLA (Process Lubricants and Additives) - now part of the BASF Group - allows us to package and offer smaller quantities of lubricant additives throughout the country.
